Renewable Energy Business
With the recent reduction in thermal and nuclear power generation, there is an increased need for renewable energy. Daikyo Kenki is involved in the conservation of, and committed to the protection of, the environment and decarbonization.
As part of this commitment, we recognize the need for wind-powered large-scale lifting work. We have committed to participating in the wind power business with the intention that the cranes and human resources of Daikyo Kenki be on the cutting edge of the science of renewable energy.
In December 2019, we became registered as a subcontractor (meerkat) with Vestas Japan, a wind power manufacturer. Additionally, we have become an official subcontractor of The Ember Company. Daikyo Kenki is also considering branching into a new field of business involving the maintenance of wind turbines (blades, lifting parts for replacement, foothold curing, etc.).
Along with Vestas Japan, Siemens and GE are also operating wind power turbines domestically, and we are providing lifting work for all three companies.
